The label
A small label that lists every length
Naimah Collections is a modest-wear label working from Leicester, England. It makes open and closed abayas, kaftans, wrap scarves and underscarves, and sells them through this site to customers in the UK and abroad.
What the business is
The name on the label is the name of the collection, not a person you are buying from. Behind it is a small studio that chooses the cloth, sets the patterns and the lengths, checks each piece when it arrives, and packs every order by hand. The range is narrow by design: a handful of garments, each offered in a fixed run of lengths and colours, each with a single price.
The reason for the label is a problem most people who wear long garments recognise. Many abayas are sold in one length, or in sizes that change the width but not the hem. The result is either fabric gathering at the floor or a hem that stops at the shin. Listing the length of every size, and offering five of them, is the whole point.
Where it works from
Everything is designed, checked, stored and posted from Leicester, England. Orders leave from here for addresses across the United Kingdom, Europe and the rest of the world.

The order, step by step
Five steps between choosing and wearing
- You choose your pieces, lengths and colours on the order page and send the form.
- We check each piece against the stock on the shelf and reply by e-mail, normally within one working day, quoting the sum due and a link for paying it safely.
- Nothing is charged until you pay through that link. If a colour or length is out, we tell you in that reply and you decide what to do.
- Once paid, the order is pressed, folded in tissue and sent within two working days, with tracking.
- If something is not right, the returns and exchanges page explains how to send it back.
What the label will and will not do
It will answer questions about length, fabric and colour before you order, and it will exchange an unworn piece for another length. It will not offer made-to-measure tailoring or alterations, it does not make bridal wear, it does not cut children's sizes, and it does not sell wholesale or supply other shops.
How to reach it
Write to [email protected]. The mailbox is read Monday to Friday, 9.30 to 17.00 UK time, and every message gets a reply from the studio.
